It Came a Flood

It came down, and came down, for 18 hours nonstop. A total of about 7 inches of rain. The river flooded and rose higher than we've ever seen it. The water was about 5 feet deep at the old chicken coop, and backed up nearly to the bee hives.

Crazy in the Snow

Ammon and Josh thought they would try their luck at a pre-mature DEATH!!! No one really knows why boys do what they do. We just grit our teeth and hope that they live through it.

Needle in the EYE

Get this......a sewing needle hotglued to a nerf dart. Then you stand back a few feet from the wall, place the needle laden dart into the end of a pvc pipe and blow it at the target. Whoops, it bounces off of the wall and sticks you right in the eye!!!!! David says it hurts. Well, I guess so!!!! He got a new lense for his eye out of the whole deal. A rather delicate operation, but performed well by a great doctor at Children's Hospital in Little Rock. The blessing he received before the opperation promised that there would be no permanent damage to his sight. The doctor said David was very, very lucky. We say very, very blessed.

Ben's X-ray

A broken colar bone! That's gotta hurt. But Dr. Reilly gave him the ol' one, two push and shove.....OUCH!!! Now he is taking it easy, eatin' his peanut butter and jam sandwiches, and kickin' back. He should have known that there are less painful ways to get out of work.
