Fall Around the Homestead

The colors have been wonderful, and the weather even better.  We've enjoyed a very mild fall with daytime temps ranging from the upper 60's to the mid 70's.  This is our favorite time of year, and it always makes us thankful for this wonderful place.

This is the Crate Myrtle in the front of the house and the beehives in the distance.  This is an early morning shot when there was still a haze in the air.

I love the still of the morning.  I always feel gratitude for a new day.   Knowing that our days are given to us that we might have time to repent and set things right, I see the dawn and think; today, yes today I will get it right.  God in His infinite mercy has given us the dawn, so clean, so new, so pure.  A new beginning every day.
